Aoraki Tree and Scrub - Services

Aoraki Tree and Scrub specialises in clearing invasive species such as wilding pines willow, broom, gorse, cotoneaster, blackberry, rowans and lupins. We are a preferred supplier to a number of our counterparties and we endeavour to stay abreast of innovation and improving techniques for species control. Our staff have decades of combined experience in forestry and weed control, which ensure best practices are shared amongst the team.

More recently we have engaged in native planting and wetland restoration projects. To date we have planted some 24,000 natives in some rocky and challenging terrain. We are pleased to say, despite some local reservations about the environmental viability, that they are thriving. The wetland projects that we have worked on are thriving. Willows have been effectively controlled allowing the resident native species the chance to flourish.

Pine trees rampaging across the hills? When we drop a tree we methodically treat the stump with the most effective herbicides available and they stay dead. Nobody wants zombie trees sprouting from the stumps of felled trees.
